With great creativity and enthusiasm, children from kindergartens and primary schools explored how logistics shapes our everyday lives as part of the LogistiKids 2025 competition. From kiwis to online parcels, the children engaged creatively with supply chains and the flow of goods. We are delighted to have supported this project as a sponsor!
The “LogistiKids” competition continues to inspire young people about the topic of logistics time and again. The statewide competition, organized by Kompetenznetz Logistik.NRW and the IHK NRW, was aimed at kindergartens and primary schools and highlighted just how important logistics is in our daily lives.
Guided by the key questions “How does the kiwi get to our home?” and “How does online retail work?”, the children creatively explored supply chains, transport, and the movement of goods. The presentations and the festive award ceremony took place on January 23, 2026, at the Hamm Innovation Center. For us, it was especially wonderful to see the creativity, joy, and curiosity with which the children took part in the initiative.
The winning groups received cash and non-cash prizes provided by the sponsors. We are proud to have supported this project and to have contributed to early education—and above all, to a great deal of fun.
LogistiKids will continue in 2026. New topics will include “How does tea get into our cups?” and “What actually happens in an inland port?” Further information about the competition can be found at Kompetenznetz Logistik.NRW.
